Von Steuben acclaimed in Yulan celebration

YULAN, NY — Perfectly timed for Yulan’s 15th annual Von Steuben Day Parade and Germanfest, early fall weather arrived with bluebird skies and crisp leaves coasting in the breeze. The event benefits the Yulan Fire Department. Numerous German dancers, fire departments and floats participated in the parade, including the young Ryan Jasper, pictured at top right. Asked what kind of truck he was driving, Jasper simply smiled, opened his trunk and let the little motor do the talking.
