Museum canal boat is back in the water
CUDDEBACKVILLE, NY Neversink Kate, the Neversink Valley Area Museums re-creation of a 19th century canal boat, is back in the water and ready to board passengers. The canal has been repaired after the damage caused by Aprils devastating floods and the boat has just been re-launched.
The boat will take visitors on 30-minute narrated boat rides along the historic Delaware & Hudson Canal every Saturday and Sunday from October 1 through 30 from 12:00 to 4:00 p.m. on the hour. Those who come before 12:00 noon on October 16 can enjoy the museums apple pancake breakfast as well. Tickets are $5 per person. Boat capacity is 12 adults, so if you have a large group, reservations are preferred.
