EMILY LYNN COOK
WILKES-BARRE, PA Emily Lynn Cook, a resident of Wilkes-Barre and a former resident of Honesdale, died unexpectedly at home on Thursday, September 1, 2005. She was 23.
The daughter of the late Roscoe D. Cook and the former Joy L. Class, she was born October 12, 1981 in Franklin, VA.
Cook was a graduate of Liberty Central High School.
A family statement said: Emily leaves us with our memories of her gentle sprit and her love of life.
She is survived by her mother and step-father, Joy and Elvin Schwab of Honesdale; her fiancée Robert Kuhns of Wilkes-Barre; two brothers, Ryan of Wilkes-Barre and Ross of North Carolina; three step-sisters, Wendy Kramer and Tina Bayly of Beach Lake and Jessica Schwab of Honesdale; her maternal grandmother, Thelma Burgoyne; a step-grandmother, Hazel Terrell; and nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was predeceased by her maternal great-grandparents Maxine and George Class.
Services were held on Tuesday, September 6, 2005 at the Hessling Funeral Home in Honesdale with the Reverend Debra Vandermark-Daly, pastor of the Abramsville United Methodist Church officiating.
Interment is in Galilee.
LUCILLE ELIZABETH ERHARDT
HONESDALE, PA Lucille Elizabeth Erhardt, a resident of Honesdale, died Tuesday, September 6, 2005 in the Dunmore Health Care Center in Dunmore. She was 93.
She was the daughter of the late Vernon and Alice Brooks Rutledge or Rutledgedale. For many years she and her husband Roy operated their dairy farm in Torrey.
She is survived by two sons, Vernon C. of Belvedere, NJ and Elton L. of Honesdale; a daughter, Janet Marie Tigue of Hawley; a brother, Mevin Rutledge of NJ; a sister, Betty Hopinks of Tyler Hill; ten grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband, Roy Cappy Erhardt who died in 1989; four brothers, Arthur, Leslie, Robert and Cecil Rutledge; four sisters, Marion, Laurita Niesen, Evelyn Dennis and Grace Geist.
Services were held on September 11 in the Arthur A. Bryant Funeral Home in Honesdale with Lloyd Canfield of Honesdale officiating.
Interment will be in the Calkins Union Cemetery.

FRANCES G. (SZWED) NUCCITELLI
HAWLEY, PA Frances G. (Szwed) Nuccitelli, a two-year resident of Hawley and a former resident of Saddle Brook, NJ, died Friday, September 2, 2005. She was 62.
The daughter of the late Genevieve and Walter Szwed, she was born in Passaic, NJ.
Nuccitelli owned and operated Strawberry Junction Card and Gift Shop in Bloomingdale, NJ for eight years until her retirement in 2003. She was affiliated with St. Leos Roman Catholic Church in Elmwood Park and was a member of AARP National.
She is survived by four siblings, Cherie Danko of Pequannock, Tina Nuccitelli of Miami, FL, Jennifer Nuccitelli of Hawley and Kristina Nuccitelli of Saddle Brook; Brother Walter Szwed of Maywood; three sisters, Barbara Wolak of Garfield, Diana Magistrelli of Audubon, and Beverly Pitak of North Carolina; and four grandchildren, Johnathan, Alexander, Jason and Jayden.
Nicholas Kane Sattler
CALLICOON, NY Nicholas Kane Sattler, a resident of Callicoon and a lifetime area resident, died Tuesday, September 6, 2005 in Callicoon. He was 17.
The son of Jack and Kathy Borowski Sattler, he was born October 9, 1987 in Harris.
Sattler was a student at Sullivan West Central School.
He is survived by his parents, Jack and Kathy Borowski Sattler, at home; a sister, Stacey at home; a brother, Jack Ryan and his wife Amy of Wisconsin; his maternal grandfather, Joseph Borowski of Hortonville; his paternal grandparents, Jack and Ellie Sattler of Florida; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was predeceased by his maternal grandmother, Jean Borowski.
Services were held Friday, September 8 at the Holy Cross Church in Callicoon with Father Ignatius Smith, OFM, officiating.
Interment will be at the Callicoon Cemetery.

ROBERT L. VITZ
WHITE MILLS, PA Robert L. Vitz, a resident of White Mills, died September 7, 2005 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was 29.
The son of Paul T. Vitz and Elizabeth DeVuyst Naffis, he was born in Newton, NJ
Vitz worked as a tree trimmer for Sunshine Tree Service. He was a Methodist.
He is survived by his father, Paul of Spring Hill, FL; his mother, Elizabeth Naffis of Montague, NJ; a brother, Thomas of Greeley; a sister, Renee of Spring Hill, FL; two step sisters, Aron and Amanda Fitzgerald of Spring Hill, FL; two sons, Cody Foster Vitz of Rowland and Devon Vitz of White Mills; and one niece.
Services were held on Saturday, September 9 at Teeters East Chapel with Reverend Martin L. Cox, Jr., pastor of Hawley United Methodist Church, officiating.
