“The Beautiful Country” will kick off the CineArt season on Friday, September 21.

Malick starts CineArt season

CALLICOON, NY—The Delaware Valley Arts Alliance and the Callicoon Theater re-open the 2006 CineArt season September 21 through 25 with The Beautiful Country(R), starring Nick Nolte and Damien Nguyen.

Binh (Nguyen), the son of an American soldier and a Vietnam native woman, is an outcast in his small village and is forced to leave when his aunt’s new husband moves in, taking his place. Binhs travels in search of his lost father lead him first to Saigon in pursuit of his mother and then to America where he searches for his father (Nick Nolte).
