Murder at the church fair

CALLICOON, NY—St. James Episcopal Church will hold its annual Murder Mystery Party fundraiser on Saturday, October 1 at 5:00 p.m., at the Callicoon United Methodist Church Hall on Route 97.

The premise of this year’s mystery is that a dead body has been found at the site of the church’s annual fair. The townspeople are gathering together—at a church supper, of course—to get to the truth of the matter and find the identity of the killer. Guests can examine the crime scene and interview the suspects while munching on appetizers. After dinner a law enforcement officer will publicly grill the suspects. Guests guess the identity of the murderer, with prizes drawn among those who guess correctly.

The requested donation of $15 per person includes dinner. Reservations are recommended.
