Celebrate the equinox at Lacawac

LAKE WALLENPAUPACK, PA—Lacawac Sanctuary will hold an Equinox Party on Thursday, September 22 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. There will be a bonfire, roasting marshmallows, campfire stories and a woods walk. The suggested donation is $3 for members and $5 for non-members. Aged 12 and under are admitted free.

Lacawac is also offering free, informative tours of its historic buildings and glacial lake every Wednesday and Sunday at 2:00 p.m. and Saturday at 11:00 a.m. through September. For more information call 570/689-9494 or email educator@lacawac.org.
