Summer goes out with a bang

MONTICELLO, NY — Monticello Raceway will celebrate the summer’s end with a fireworks display with a grand finale synchronized to music on September 4, starting 15 minutes after the final race. The racing card will get underway at 5 p.m.

“Having this fantastic fireworks show will be our way of thanking our loyal fans and by adding music to the grand finale, it will make the display that much more exciting,” noted track general manager, Shawn Wiles. “It will also mark the first time ever that the Mighty M will offer a Sunday night race program.”

Admission to the raceway and fireworks display is free.
