Awards galore as Sullivan County becomes more beautiful

BETHEL, NYA hush fell over the audience as Assemblywoman Aileen Gunther was handed the envelope that contained the name of the Golden Feather award recipient.
I am so excited I can hardly breathe, Gunther said into the mike as the metallic envelope opener sliced through the thin paper.

Bethel plans its future on the urban edge

Commercial development in White Lake. Nearly $4 million in municipal sewer infrastructure along Route 17B. Four new zoning districts. New sidewalks to give the Kauneonga/White Lake area an improved village appearance.

Pike County strives to attract business to park

MILFORD, PAPike Countys principal effort to bring business to the county rests at its corporate park on Route 434 near Lords Valley.
The 320-acre park, created by the Pike Industrial Development Corporation (PIDCO), has a wastewater plant in place and 23 developed business lots that are shovel ready. The site is 2.8 miles from I-84, a distance considered as a distinct advantage by business developers.
