Reception to promote synagogues renaissance
LIVINGSTON MANOR, NY Congregation Agudas Achim in Livingston Manor hold a public reception at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, August 19 at the synagogue to acquaint the public with the community and its Renaissance project of restoring the historic building. There will be a few brief presentations relating to the history, programs and future of Agudas Achim, built 82 years ago by Izzy Brooks from his recollections of synagogues in Eastern Europe.
