Sabah brings classical Indian dance to Callicoon Creek Park

Sabah, an internationally acclaimed proponent of the art of classical Indian dance, will appear in the Callicoon Creek Park Summer Performance Series this weekend, accompanied by the music of George Mousa of the Pharaohs, from Alexandria, Egypt.
Widely recognized for her talents, Sabah performs regularly for important social functions amidst Middle Eastern royal families as well as at a myriad of national museums, colleges and concert halls. She also has appeared as herself in several major Hollywood movies including Once Around with Richard Dreyfuss and Holly Hunter and live on stage with the Gypsy Kings in Central Park and Led Zeppelin at Madison Square Garden. ABC-TV has done a feature story on her life and career as a dancer and teacher.
In addition to performing, Sabah will teach classes on a regular basis on Monday evenings from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. at Braman Arts Conservatory on Main Street.
It is suggested that audience members bring a blanket or chair to the performance. In case of rain it will be moved indoors to the Braman Arts Conservatory on Main Street.
