A master technician at Shandelee

LIVINGSTON MANOR, NY — Christopher Kennedy, resident piano technician of the Shandelee Music Festival for the past 12 years and of the Metropolitan Opera House for the past five, will present his one-man performance piece, “Pulling Strings,” on Thursday, August 11 at 8:00 p.m. in the Sunset Concert Pavilion of the Shandelee Music Festival.

As one part of the performance, Kennedy will share anecdotes and memories of his work in the field of piano technology, which has crossed the musical spectrum of classical, Broadway, cabaret, pop and jazz. He promises that “Pulling Strings” will be unlike anything ever seen on the stage and that those attending his performance will know more of the piano when the evening is over.

All Sunset Concerts take place in the Shandelee Music Festival Sunset Concert Pavilion and are followed by specialty dessert receptions. Seating is limited and reservations are required.
