Nehemiah to read from ‘Reclamation’ at Hamish and Henry

LIVINGSTON MANOR, NY — Marcia Nehemiah will read her poetry and sign copies of her book “Reclamation” on Saturday, August 13 at 3:00 at Hamish & Henry Booksellers, 34 B Main Street.

Nehemiah’s poems and essays have been published in literary journals and newspapers including The New York Times, The Star-Ledger, and Journal of New Jersey Poets. Her work is currently posted online at www.jerseyworks.com, www.subtletea.com, and The Pedestal Magazine. She has been the featured reader at the Wayne County Arts Alliance literary series, the Himalayan Institute’s poetry nights, the Blue Victorian, A.I.R. Gallery in NYC and on National Public Radio’s “Theme and Variations.”

A member of the Upper Delaware Writers Collective, Nehemiah is an associate editor of The River Reporter and writes a weekly poetry column, “News from Poems” for the paper.
