Learning about wildlife

UPPER DELAWARE VALLEY — The National Park Service will present two wildlife classes this weekend. On Saturday, August 6 at 2:00 p.m. ranger Christine Krooss will present a hands-on approach to learning about wildlife at the Zane Grey Museum, “Wildlife of the Upper Delaware Valley.” With the help of several common mammal pelts, individuals will learn how to identify a variety of local mammals and find out about the physical characteristics, diet and habitat of each.

On Sunday, August 7 at 2:00 p.m. join Park Ranger Susie Kaspar on the Narrowsburg deck overlooking the Delaware River for “Birds of Prey,” a program on the physical characteristics, habitat, diet and migration patterns of birds of prey
