Latin heat at WJFF’s Summer Salsa Party

LAKE HUNTINGTON, NY — WJFF (90.5FM) celebrates 15 years of community radio with a Summer Salsa Dance Party, from 8:00 to midnight on Saturday, July 30 at The Nutshell Arts Center on Route 52. The event features the nine-piece Latin dance band Soñando and a salsa cook-off. Guests are invited to bring a batch of their best homemade salsa to be judged by a panel of the area’s chefs, farmers and personalities, with prizes being awarded for the best salsa entries. Tickets cost $12 and there will be a cash bar.
