Local arts groups receive Sullivan County Arts & Heritage grants

NARROWSBURG, NY — This year’s recipients of Sullivan County Arts & Heritage Grants, funded by the Sullivan County legislators, include representatives of a variety of artistic endeavors from poetry to weaving. The awards were made at a special reception held at the Delaware Valley Arts Alliance on Thursday, July 14.

One of the beneficiaries was the Sullivan County Dramatic Workshop (SCDW), who were presented with a check for $1,200 from County Legislator Kathy LaBuda. The funding will help enable the workshop to present its first major musical production in years, “Oliver!,” this August at the Rivoli Theatre in South Fallsburg.
