River valley opera lush with Verdi’s ‘La Traviata’

Kristin Sampson sings the female lead, Violetta Valery, in the Delaware Valley Opera’s July 10 matinee performance of Giuseppe Verdi’s “La Traviata” at the Tusten Theatre in Narrowsburg, NY. The opera has been produced in collaboration with the Hudson Opera Theatre and directed by Ron DeFesi. It will be performed again on Sunday, July 24 at 7:00 p.m. at the Tusten Theatre; Saturday, July 30 at 8:00 p.m. at Sullivan County Community College; and Sunday, August 7 at 3:00 p.m. at the Tusten Theatre.
