A canoe tour of local plants

MILANVILLE, PA — Dr. Ann Rhoads, acclaimed botanist and author, will lead an educational canoe trip on Saturday, July 16 starting at 9:00 a.m., leaving from the Milanville river access and finishing at the Ten Mile River Access on the New York side of the Delaware.

Rhoads is one of the leading experts on local plants and the author of several books on the subject. She will identify and discuss the flora lining the banks for the participants, and will be available for questions throughout the journey.

The trip will last until early afternoon, so participants are asked to bring a lunch.
