Car show to rev more than a few engines

EQUINUNK, PA — Celebrating over 100 years of automobiles in Wayne County, the Equinunk Historical Society proudly presents its 6th annual car show featuring antique, classic and custom cars on Saturday, June 25.

The show will include many meticulously restored antique cars, newer classics including muscle cars and those of unique styling. The custom category can include hot rods and street rods and most other custom-styled vehicles. There will be a section devoted to older farm tractors and motorcycles and a display of the newest technology, the hybrid vehicles that operate on both gasoline and electricity. In addition to the cars, there will be craft, antique and home-style vendors, a bake sale, book sale, food and refreshments. There is no registration fee for exhibitors, and free collectible dash plaques and many door prizes are available to exhibitors. Vending spaces are still available for $10 ($15 last week before show). Admission for the public is by free will donation.

Sponsoring the show this year is Kaplan Chevrolet-Buick, Inc.; LaBar Computer Services; Wally Young, General Contractor; and Dirlam/Narrowsburg Lumber Company.
