Library funding correction

ELDRED, NY — While Sunshine Hall Library funding is included in the bottom line for total spending related in the Eldred Central School district budget, library funding is technically not part of the budget and is not affected by the voting outcome.

The school district currently provides a conduit for the collection of $8,000 funding for the library and that funding would be provided despite the outcome of the upcoming June 21 budget vote. Library funding is only broken out as a separate proposition if and when the library board seeks to increase the amount of that funding.
