Upper Delaware writers to visit Wurtsboro

WURTSBORO, NY — Members of the Upper Delaware Writers Collective will appear on Saturday, June 25 at 8:00 p.m. to read their poetry at UnCommon Grounds Coffeehouse and Cabaret, 108 Sullivan Street. The reading will be followed by an open-mic.

Based in Narrowsburg, NY, the writers collective is curated by poet and teacher Mary Greene. It is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to promoting the literary arts in the Upper Delaware region. Activities include workshops, readings and chapbook publications.

The collective serves as a networking organization to bring writers together and has been recognized for its ongoing contributions to the community, including readings, radio events and the recent completion of a trilogy of chapbooks: “Gatherings,” “Collective Memory” and “Wheel.” It is a member of the United Poets Coalition.
