CICERO, NY—It’s the dream of a lifetime and the end product of seemingly endless hours, days, weeks, months and years of preparation. Precious few of New York State’s track and field athletes make it to grand show, known as the New York State/Federation Track and Field championships. Competing in the statewide competition designates an athlete as one of the state’s elite.

Run and ramble in Rock Hill

ROCK HILL, NY—Several hundred runners and walkers will participate in the 13th annual Walter A. Rhulen Rock Hill Run and Ramble, a 5K footrace around the scenic Lake Louise Marie on Saturday, June 18. This year’s event benefits the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of America.
