Patrons buy up Jay Brooks landscapes

CALLICOON, NYAcute attention to light, and the felicitous or melancholy moods set in a landscape through lights affect on color, are trademarks of Jay Brooks collection of paintings now on display at Jerico Fine Arts Gallery, 27 Lower Main Street.
Brooks, an art teacher at Monticello High School, has already sold 16 paintings in the exhibit, which opened April 29 to a packed house at Jerry Horns gallery.

Folk music coming to Harmonie Hall
CALLICOON, NYFolk legends Greg Artzner and Terry Leonino and the up-and-coming multi-instrumentalist Joe Crookston will each perform at The Western Hotel on Saturday, May 7 at 8:30 p.m. in a concert presented by WJFF 90.5 FM.
