Wesely to lead spring flower walk

MILANVILLE, PA — Naturalist Ed Wesely will lead a morning walk in search of May wildflowers and other signs of spring on Saturday, April 30. Anyone interested in the two-hour walk should meet Wesely at the Butterfly Barn on River Road in Milanville at 10:00 a.m.

Learn to identify painted trilliums, blood-root, Dutchman’s britches, marsh marigolds and other spring flowers. Dress for the outdoors and bring binoculars for viewing birds and local wildlife. Wear comfortable shoes for the forest and field walk. This program is free and open to the public.
