FOSTERDALE, NY A memorial service for Shirley Bunt who died earlier this year will be held at the Fremont Community Church on Saturday, April 30, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. Friends are invited to attend.
CHARLOTTE CHRISTIANSEN
JEFFERSONVILLE, NY Charlotte Christiansen, a resident of Jeffersonville, died on Thursday, April 21, 2005 at the Westside Regional Medical Center in Plantation FL. She was 78.
She was a homemaker.
DIANE GLYNN
HAWLEY, PA Diane Glynn, a resident of Hawley, died unexpectedly on Friday, April 15, 2005 at the Wayne Memorial Hospital in Honesdale. She was 45.
The daughter of the late William and Loretta Goodacre OConnor, she was born in Flushing, NY.
She graduated from St. Johns University and worked for The River Reporter before becoming a professor at the University of Scranton. She was a member of the Queen of Peace Roman Catholic Church in Hawley.
She is survived by two daughters, Kerry Glynn of Greentown and Macaulay Glynn of Hawley and a son, Dante Vittor of Hawley.
Services were held on Tuesday, April 26 at the Queen of Peace Roman Catholic Church with the Reverend Gerard L. Hawley, pastor of St. John Neumann Roman Catholic Church, officiating. Interment was in the Queen of Peace Cemetery in Hawley.
STEVEN JAMES HEAD
HAWLEY, PA Steven James Head, a lifelong resident of Hawley, died unexpectedly on April 22, 2005. He was 35.
The son of Ronald and Mary Swinyer Hickey, he was born in Honesdale.
He worked as a utility worker for PPL. He was a 1987 graduate of Wallenpaupack Area High School, and he was an avid pool player. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
He is survived by his wife of six years, Leena Mergen-Head at home; a daughter Olivia and a son William; his mother, Mary Hickey of Hawley; his father, Ronald D. Head of Greentown; three sisters, Sandra and her husband Floyd Quick of Hawley, Teresa Head of Honesdale, and Ellen Hickey and her fiancé Bernard Knapp of Hawley; and several nieces and nephews.
Services were held on Wednesday, April 27 at Teeters East Chapel with Elder Ronald Starnes and Priest Jay Starnes of the Community Church in Scranton officiating.
Interment will be at Green Gates Cemetery in Hawley.

EUGENE E. HUSSON
SHOHOLA, PA Eugene E. Husson, a resident of Shohola, died on Friday, April 22, 2005 at Bon Secours Community Hospital in Port Jervis, NY. He was 77.
The son of Leon J. and Lillian (Loesch) Husson, he was born in Shohola Township.
He was a U.S. Army veteran and a member of the Port Jervis B.PO.E. Lodge # 645. He worked as a school bus contractor until his retirement.
He is survived by his wife, Carol M. (Goehring) Husson; one son, Gary of Hawley; two daughters, Gail of San Leandro, CA, and Linda of Shohola, PA; one brother, Leon F. of Dingmans Ferry, PA; one sister, Lillian Curran of Bloomfield, NJ; and two grandchildren, Aaron and Rebecca.
Services were held on Tuesday, April 26 at the Stroyan Funeral Home in Milford with the Reverend David Repenning officiating.
Interment services will be at the convenience of the family in the Husson Cemetery in Shohola Township.

STEVE KULCSAR
CLINTONDALE, NY Steve Kulcsar, a resident of Clintondale, died on Sunday, April 10, 2005. He was 86.
The son of John and Elizabeth Szerdi Kulcsar, he was born on March 14, 1919 in Cliffside Park, NJ.
He worked for Levar Bros. Co. in Edgewater, NJ and retired as supervisor of mechanical crafts. He was a graduate of the NY Institute of Photography and was an officer in the Ridgefield, NJ Auxiliary Police. He moved to Clintondale in 1981 and was a member of the AARP Chapter 975 in New Paltz, NY.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Elizabeth Russell Kulcsar; four children, Steven and his wife JoAnn of Highland, Robert and his wife Nancy of Mountainside, NJ, Susan Wittmann and her husband Eric of Dalton, PA, and Karen Tulchinsky of Port Ewen; 11 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by one granddaughter.
Services were held on Sunday, April 17 at the Clintondale Friends Christian Church.
FRANK EDWARD LESHINSKI
HAWLEY, PA Frank Edward Leshinksi, a 55-year resident of Hawley and a former resident of Ledgedale, died on April 25, 2005 following an illness at the Mercy Hospital in Scranton.
The son of the late Walter F. and Michaelina Penza Leszczynski, he was born in Ledgedale.
He worked in construction for J.D. Morrissey until his retirement in 1987. He was a member of the Lakeville Volunteer Fire Department, the Hawley Senior Citizens and the Queen of Peace RC Church in Hawley.
He was predeceased by his wife of 40 years, Helen Marie (Kaczeriwski) Leshinski who died in 1986.
He is survived by his daughter, Kathleen Engvaldesen of Scranton; his son, Ronald of Londonderry, NH; his granddaughters, Kimberly Leshinski of Rochester, NH and Andrea Leshinski of Salem, NH; his grandsons, Shawn Engvaldsen of Scranton, David Leshinski of Londonderry and Nicholas Leshinski of Albertsville.
Visitation will be on Thursday, April 28 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Teeters First Chapel in Hawley.
Services will be held on Friday, April 29 at 10:00 a.m. at the Queen of Peace Roman Catholic Church with the Reverend William B. Healey, pastor, officiating.
Interment will be at St. Marys Cemetery in Ledgedale.

DONALD EDWARD CHUB MOLUSKY
CALLICOON, NY Donald Edward Chub Molusky, a lifelong area resident, died at home on Friday, April 22, 2005. He was 79.
The son of the late George F. and Clara R. Sparling Molusky, he was born in Callicoon, NY.
He was the former owner of the Autumn Inn in Callicoon. He was a veteran of World War II, a member of Liberty Elks, the Callicoon Kiwanis, the Grey Fox Hunting Club, and a life member of H. Russell Kenyon Post 5808 Veteran of Foreign Wars in Callicoon.
He is survived by his wife, Jean Wood Molusky at home; one son, Karl Frederick Molusky and his fiancé Cheryl Stauch of Callicoon; daughter Tracy Darder and Jeffrey Meola of Callicoon; his grandchildren, Katelyn Marie Molusky, Sara Jean Molusky, and their mother, Rae Ellen Becker, Shaun Michael Darder, Chelcie RE Darder and Jared Donald Meola; and one brother, George I. Molusky of the state of Florida.
He was predeceased by his brothers and sisters, Carl, Roberta, Adelaide, Robert and Vernon.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, April 28 at 7:00 p.m. in the Callicoon United Methodist Church with Pastor Peg Van Siclen officiating. Cremation will be at Twin Tiers Crematory in Endicott.

RICHARD A. PETRASEK
LAKE ARIEL, PA Richard A. Petrasek, a resident of Lake Ariel, died April 18, 2005 at Muhlenberg Hospital in Bethlehem.
The son of the late Aurel and Joyce Weaver Petrasek, he was born in Baltimore, MD. He attended school in Westfield, NJ, and was a member of St. Marys Church in Ledgedale. He was the owner and operator of Aurels TV and Appliances for 26 years. He was a veteran of the United States Army and a member of the American Legion Post in Hawley.
He is survived by his wife, the former Sonja Beran; his sons, Craig of Barryville, NY and Mark of Denville, NJ; a brother, Geoffrey of Lancaster, PA; his sisters, Elaine Crigler of Emerald Isle, NC, Joan Grubb of Baltimore, MD, and Barbara Melchiskey of Camden, ME; his grandchildren, Karl, Ryan, Craig and Grant, Kristen, Luke and Gewinda; several nieces and nephews; and many relatives in Germany.
He was predeceased by a son, William and a sister, Joyce Middleton.
A funeral mass was celebrated on Friday, April 22 at the St. Thomas More Church in Lake Ariel.
Interment is in St. Marys Cemetery in Ledgedale.

DORIS TURSHEN
BROOKLYN, NY Doris Turshen, a resident of Brooklyn and a former resident of Jeffersonville, NY, died April 14 at Kings County Hospital in Brooklyn, NY. She was 77.
The daughter of Lester John and Louise Elizabeth Esselmann Hust, she was born in Jeffersonville, NY.
She worked as a secretary for Quality Bakers of America in New York City until her retirement.
She was married to the late Maximillian Turshen.
She is survived by one brother, Lester Hurst of Youngsville; her nieces and nephews, Kent Simpson of Madison, IN, Kim Simpson of Anderson, IN, Valerie Doolittle of Barneveld, Duane Hurst of Jeffersonville, and Sherrie Hust of Youngsville; many great nieces and nephews; and several cousins.
She was predeceased by a sister, Louise Simpson.
Services were held on Monday, April 18 at the Stewart-Murphy Funeral Home in Jeffersonville with the Reverend Lee Andrews officiating.
Interment is in the Jeffersonville Presbyterian Cemetery.

MARY JANE (HORTON) WATKINS
GREELEY, PA Mary Jane (Horton) Watkins, a resident of Greeley, died at her home on April 13, 2005. She was 70.
The daughter of the late Mary Horbasch and Augustus D. Horton, she was born in Dover, NJ.
She was a retired secretary for the First National Iron Bank in Morristown, NJ and a Protestant. She was a past president of Mendham Boro Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary in NJ.
She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Frederick Watkins of Greeley; two sons, Brett of Fort Meyers, FL, and Scott of Manasquan, NJ; a sister, Evelyn Curran of Greeley, PA; four grandchildren; and two nieces.
Services are private and at the convenience of the family.
