Basketball Cherry named to Section 9 basketball all-star team KINGSTON, NY—Eldred Central High School senior Jessica Cherry has been selected for the Section 9 basketball coaches’ All Section Team for the 2004-2005 season. Cherry was recognized April 17 during a ceremony at the Hillside Manor. As a post player this past season, Cherry averaged 17 points and 7.4 rebounds per game. She finished with a season high of 336 points and 76 steals. Cherry compiled 883 varsity points during her three-year career. Cherry will be attending Binghamton University in the fall. She has been accepted into Cornell University’s School of Industrial Relations for the academic year beginning in fall 2006.
