The best of DIGit 2005 are…
NARROWSBURG, NYThe culmination of DIGit Exposition 2005, a 10-day event showcasing movies and media art from around the world, will be a three-part program at the Tusten Theatre featuring the Rose Planetariums Carter Emmart and screenings of the competitions best film submissions (listed below). Included in this finale, which will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 30, is a 2005 Academy Award winner from Canada along with world-class work created by local artists.

Pear blossoms sweet for Milford
MILFORD, PAThe fifth annual Pear Blossom Festival, celebrating the annual blossoming of Broad Streets maturing pear trees, will be held in Milford on Saturday, April 23. A tent fair in the Ann Street Memorial Park will anchor the day of events between 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.
The parade will step off at 1:00 p.m. from Sarah and Broad Streets. Lineup for the parade will begin at 12:30 on Fifth and Sarah.

The Peace Academy holds its first event
LIBERTY, NY —The Peace Academy at Liberty held its opening event, a showing of the Marx Brothers film Duck Soup, on March 18 at the Liberty Free Theatre, which was filled almost to capacity. Many in the audience came not only to watch the fun stuff of Groucho, Chico, and Harpo, but also out of curiosity about the newly formed Peace Academy.
