Federation basketball titles: the pinnacle of success

GLENS FALLS, NY — Winners of the New York State Public High School Athletic Association championship in Class AA, Class A and Class B duked it out on March 20 with champions from New York City’s Public School Athletic League (PSAL), the Catholic High School Athletic Association (CHSAA) and the Association of Independent Schools in the Federation Championships, which represent the state’s ultimate titles. The games were held from March 18 to 20. The results were as follows:

Boys

Class AA: Niagra Falls (NYSPHAA) 68, Xaverian (CHSAA) 65

Class A: St Anthony’s (CHSAA) 61, Peekskill (NYSPHAA) 50

Class B: Regis (CHSAA) 64, Palmyra-Macedon (NYSPHAA) 48

Girls

Class AA: Christ the King (CHSAA) 66, Murray Bergtraum (PSAL) 59

Class A: Holy Trinity (CHSAA) 57, Honeoye Falls-Lima (NYSPHAA) 53

Class B: Nichols (AIS) 40, John Glenn (NYSPHAA) 36
