BRUCE C. MEYER
LAKE HUTINGTON, NY Bruce C. Meyer, a resident of Lake Huntington and a lifelong area resident, died on Monday, March 7, 2005 at home. He was 81.
The son of the late Carl and Loie Ferguson Meyer, he was born July 10, 1924 in Port Jervis, NY.
He was a retired president of Gasko and Meyer and a member of the Lake Huntington Presbyterian Church. He was a 50-year plus member of the Lake Huntington Fire Department. He was a member of the Red Fox Club, the New York State Beer Wholesaler Association and on the board of directors of the United National Bank.
A family statement reads, Bruce was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather. He was well liked by everyone. He was devoted to his family and his business.
He was predeceased by his wife of 55 years, Dorothy Kutcher Meyer, who passed away on February 13, 2005 and a brother, Cameron Meyer.
He is survived by two daughters, Terry Hiller and her husband Ron of Conklin, and Mary Jane Nober and her husband Jeff of Lake Huntington; five grandchildren, Kara and Erin Hiller and Bruce, Heather and John Nober; two cousins, Rose Marie Wormuth Bolton and Patricia Feldhusen; and several nieces and nephews.
Services were held on Friday, March 11 at the Rasmussen Funeral Home in Narrowsburg with the Reverend Robert McLeod officiating.
Interment is in the St. Francis Xavier Cemetery in Narrowsburg.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Lake Huntington Presbyterian Church, Lake Huntington Fire Company, or the Town of Cochecton Ambulance Corp.
DOROTHY DOT M. MULLALLY
JEFFERSONVILLE, NY Dorothy Dot M. Mullally, a resident of Jeffersonville, died on March 7, 2005 at the Sullivan County Adult Care Center in Liberty after a brief stay. She was 84.
The daughter of Vincent and Mary Collins Quirt, she was born August 8, 1920 in Brooklyn.
She worked as a teachers aid at the Kindergarten of the Jefferson-Youngsville Central School for 17 years. She was a member of the St. Georges Church in Jeffersonville, the Rosary Society of St. Georges Church and the Jeffersonville Senior Citizens.
She was predeceased by her husband, William F. Mullally and three brothers, Louis Eisler, Fred Eisler and William Quirk.
She is survived by her three daughters, Nancy Kutschera and her husband Thomas of Youngsville, Margaret Peggy Share and her husband James of Jeffersonville, and Mary Lou Kohler and her husband Robert of Youngsville; her grandchildren, Susie Balfour and her husband Scott, Lisa Kutschera, Sheri Parucki and her husband Troy, William Share, Jamie Share, Carissa Kohler, Michael Kohler and Kenneth Kohler; her great grandchildren, Ryan Balfour and Paige Parucki, and several nieces and nephews.
A family statement read, Mom was a rare gift, she was loved by all of her family and friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial was held on Thursday, March 10 at St. Georges Church in Jeffersonville with Father Ignatius Vu officiating.
Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery in Youngsville, NY.

STEPHEN SKABOWSKI
BEACH LAKE, PA Stephen Skabowski, a retired mechanic for the United Parcel Service and a 10-year area resident died Sunday, March 6, at Wayne Memorial Hospital. He was 63.
The son of the late Stephen and Mary Raulson Skabowsi, he was born September 3, 1941 in Williamsburg, NY. Skabowski was a veteran of the United States Air Force.
A family statement reads, Stephen was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was a special person that made friends everywhere he went. Him and his fella did everything together, inseparable. He will greatly be missed by all.
Survivors include his wife of 41 years, Victoria Terepka Skabowski at home; one daughter, Lisa Maxson of Long Island, NY; one son, Andrew Skabowski of Katy, TX; four grandchildren, Kimberly, Meghan and Liam Maxson and Kyle Skabowski; and a brother Robert Skabowski of Stockholm, NJ.
Services were held at Rasmussen Funeral Home. Cremation followed at Maple Hill Crematory, Archbald, PA.
