Show your creative side in ‘The Literary Gazette’

Life in the real world can be overwhelming and daunting. It’s easy to become wrapped up in the negativity of death, disease and danger and forget that there is another side to human existence, joy. Joy will be the theme of the River Reporter’s Literary Gazette this year.

Poems of up to 60 lines and prose, including essays and short stories of up to 1000 words, can be sent to The Literary Gazette, P. O. Box 150, Narrowsburg, NY 12764, attention Marcia Nehemiah. The deadline for submission is May 23.

The name of the artist should be included on a separate sheet of paper along with address, telephone number, email and a short bio of three or four lines. The artist’s name should not be included on the submission. If your work is chosen, you may be asked to send an email with the electronic file of your work. Do not send handwritten work.

Include a stamped, self-addressed envelope if you want your work returned.
