Dairy Day seminar

JEFFERSONVILLE, NY — The annual Dairy Day Seminar and Trade Show will be held on Tuesday, March 1 at the Jeffersonville Inn from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

The event, co-sponsored by the Cornell Cooperative Extension of Sullivan County in conjunction with the First National Bank of Jeffersonville, First Pioneer Farm Credit of Middletown and the Dime Bank, is designed for the dairy and livestock producers of the Sullivan County Region.

This year’s topics will be: Agriculture Labor Issues Update, presented by the NYS Department of Labor; Wind Energy in your community, presented by Kevin Schulte of Sustainable Energy and Development Inc.; and Rumensin in Dairy Rations with Dr. David Mcleary of Elanco, Inc.

In the past, over 30 vendors have attended to showcase their various services and product lines.

In addition to the sponsors, other vendors who will be present include Narrowsburg Feed and Grain, Sullivan County Soil and Water Conservation District, NFCS, FSA, Agway Feeds, Select Sire Power and Becker’s Tire Service.
