Happy birthday Zane
Park Rangers Loren Goering and Ingrid Peterec, right, talk with some of the more than 100 visitors who turned out Saturday at Lackawaxens Zane Grey Museum for the National Park Services (NPS) celebration of the authors 133rd birthday on January 31. The NPS has been holding the weekend open house birthday celebrations since the mid-1980s .
Sixty-four years after his death, Grey remains one of the worlds most popular authors. He wrote many of his early works while living in Lackawaxen.
