Arts alliance prepares for summer

WAYNE COUNTY, PA — The Wayne County Arts Alliance (WCAA) is preparing for the public art event of the summer. Similar to the Deer Games of last summer, when decorated deer adorned the streets, this year’s events will feature Adirondack-style chairs. The chairs, not only artistic, are also functional. The chairs will be debuted on Memorial Day weekend; an auction will take place in mid August.

The WCAA is now seeking merchants who wish to sponsor chairs. The cost of a sponsorship is $200 for a single chair or $350 for a pair. For sponsoring a chair, merchants will have the chair for the summer, the business will be located on the map and business information will be listed on the brochure. The deadline is February 15 and there will be a limited number of chairs available.
