Safe to go back in the water

After a five-month hiatus to update the construction plans, workers and equipment of the Fahs-Ralston Paving Corporation of Binghamton were back in the Delaware working on the center pier for the new bridge that is scheduled to replace the 1940 Barryville-Shohola bridge. The $9.4 million project, begun last March, was originally expected to take about a year.
