DIGit Media Arts Exposition calls for submissions

NARROWSBURG, NY — The Delaware Valley Arts Alliance (DVAA), Arts Council for Sullivan County, NY is pleased to announce that the 2005 DIGit Media Arts Exposition will be held from April 22 to May 1 in Narrowsburg.

DIGit is a program conceived to encourage creative and technical excellence and experimentation by individual artists, collaborators and production firms who use digital tools at some point in workflow. DVAA is calling for entries for works in four categories: Narrative, Documentary, Animation and Experimental/Hybrid.

Events will be held in the 160-seat, fully restored art deco Tusten Theatre and in the Delaware Arts Center. Works by many artists will be shown on kiosks, large screens and video installations.

Over $3,000 in cash will be awarded to winners who will have “first right of refusal” to participate in a multi-year DVD series. The deadline for entries is February 28.
