A great first season

JESSUP, PA — Young soccer players in the under-12 age group from the Sullivan West Central School District formed a team to compete in the newly opened soccer dome, located in Jessup. The team, sponsored by Lander’s River Trips, recently completed its first competitive session and earned second place medals with a record of 9-1-2.

Both losses were to FC America, a club team out of Scranton. The championship game played on December 29 was a close match that ended with the Lander’s team losing 7-5. In the soccer dome, the playing field has four full-size turf indoor soccer fields and can be found on line at the-playing-fields.com.
