Braman to stage ‘Peter Gynt’

LAKE HUNTINGTON, NY — The Braman Arts Conservatory is pleased to announce their winter production of “The Adventures of Peer Gynt,” which will be performed on Saturday, December 11 at 7:30 p.m. at the Sullivan West High School auditorium. Admission is free.

“The Adventures of Peer Gynt” is a Norwegian fairy tale by Henrik Ibsen, adapted by Taffy Roosevelt. The ancient fairy tale features Peer Gynt, the lazy, tall-tale telling hero who must travel the world in order to prove himself a worthy citizen. In his travels he faces trolls, pirates and gypsies and the enduring “inner voice” of his conscience before he completes his journey.
