Grunn is first runner-up

NEW YORK, NY — At the American Academy of Ballet’s ninth annual National Performance Awards Competition, dancer Corinna Grunn gained the distinction of First Runner-up.

Held at New York City’s Symphony Space Theatre on October 10, the competition attracted dancers from across the country. Grunn, 12, was invited to participate after attending the academy’s summer camp, where she achieved a Gold with Distinction rating on her performance. A home-educated student from Braman, PA, Grunn studies under Tasha Williams at Braman Arts Conservatory in Callicoon, NY.
