Before you vote, see this film

HONESDALE, PA AND NARROWSBURG, NY — “A chilling film that will knock your socks off” is how one viewer described “Hijacking Catastrophe,” a documentary that will be shown at the Wayne County Library in Honesdale on Tuesday, September 28 at 6:00 p.m. and at the library in Narrowsburg on Thursday, October 14 at 7:00 p.m. “This is a ‘must-see’ before going to the polls on November 2nd,” said another. “Every one of us owes it to our country to see this film, be they Republican, Democrat, or from any other party.”

The film, produced by The Media Education Foundation in 2004, uses documents, media footage, and interviews with retired Marine, Air Force, and Army Special Forces personnel, professors, and analysts to examine the justifications for the war in Iraq. It demonstrates how recent policy decisions have not only betrayed the values of Republicans, Democrats, and all Americans, but also have betrayed our troops sent to fight in a war with a hidden agenda and no exit plan. The film discusses how the strategy of a small group of men is threatening the moral and financial fiber of our great country.

“I think this film will change many people’s minds about who they will vote for in November,” says Chuck Heyn, a soft-spoken Viet Nam veteran from Abrahmsville, PA. “It would be a shame if they waited to see this until after the election.”

The presentations, sponsored by Waynepeace, are free and open to all. Seating is limited. Refreshments will be served.
