Scott and Hagedorn make state finals

POTTSVILLE, PA — Zachary Scott and Trinh “Ching” Hagedorn played at the district meet of the Hershey’s Track & Field Program held on June 19. Both boys qualified for the state finals in the 13 to 14 year old category. Scott (Wallenpaupack) placed first in the 100-meter dash. Hagedorn (Wayne Highlands) placed second in the 200-meter dash. Both will compete on July 10 at the Pennsylvania State University Track in State College in the Pennsylvania State Finals. Winners there will be eligible for selection to the Mid-Atlantic Regional Team competing in the North American Finals in Hershey, PA on August 7.
