NaCl Theatre announces fifth festival schedule
HIGHLAND LAKE, NY The North American Cultural Laboratory (NaCl Theatre) will produce its fifth season of the international Catskill Festival of New Theatre under the direction of NaCl founders Brad Krumholz and Tannis Kowalchuk.
The month-long festival will feature experimental and multi-disciplinary North American performances of circus, puppetry, acrobatics, visual outdoor spectacle, stilt walking, music and new plays, including:
- Sxips Hour of Charm on Friday, August 6
- NaCl Theatres own Terrotica on Saturday, August 7 and Friday, August 13
- The Confessions of Punch and Judy, a collaborative production involving NaCl, Number Eleven of Toronto and Cleveland Public Theatre, on Saturday, August 14
- Uncle Oscars Experimentby Zuppa Circus of Halifax, Canada on Sunday, August 15
- The Maid of Orleans by Moving Humans of New Orleans on Friday, August 20
- TBA Spanish/English performance on Saturday, August 21
- Fever Pitch by Under the Table of New York on Friday, August 27
- Circus Amok from New York, NY on Saturday, August 28
The NaCl Theater is located at 110 Highland Lake Road. Ticket are sold on a sliding scale from $8 to $20 (pay what you can).
