Chamber music crosses generations

MONTICELLO, NY — In celebration of its 10th anniversary in Sullivan County, musicians from the Weekend of Chamber Music (WCM) and 37 chamber music ensemble music students in grades nine to 12 at Monticello High School will combine their musical energy in a performance on Saturday, May 15 at 7:30 p.m. in the school’s new band room. The school is located at 39 Breakey Avenue.

The musicians, led by Judith Pearce, will perform works by Telemann, Clarke and Rachmaninoff and play some improvisation.

Weekend of Chamber Music is a non-profit organization supported in part by funding from the New York State Council on the Arts.
