Victorian tunes and tea
WHITE MILLS, PA A Victorian Tea and Concert, sponsored by the Dorflinger-Suydam Wildlife Sanctuary and the Wayne County Historical Society, will be held on Sunday, May 23 at 3:00 p.m. at the Blough Building at the Dorflinger-Suydam Wildlife Sanctuary.
This is definitely not an event for ladies only. The nostalgic turn of the century melodies presented by Ken Parks and Melanie Vaughn and accompanied by Memrie Innerarity are sure to delight gentlemen and ladies alike. The program will feature familiar tunes such as Moonlight Bay, By the Light of the Silvery Moon and Meet Me in St. Louis.
An assortment of traditional teatime treats will be offered along with a flavorful variety of tea.
Admission is $20. Reservations may be made at the Wayne County Historical Society Museum, 810 Main Street, Honesdale, on Wednesday through Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. or by mail at Wayne County Historical Society, PO Box 446, Honesdale, PA 18431.
