Meet me on the byway

CALLICOON, NY — Friends and officials promoting and supporting the Upper Delaware Scenic Byway put on a mini-conference last Saturday, November 8, at the Delaware Community Center. The theme was “97 Reasons to Meet on the Byway.”

The purpose of the conference was to educate both businesspeople and the byway organization about the opportunity to connect the planning, interpretation and marketing of the region as a tourist destination.

The keynote speaker was Teresa Mitchell of the Seaway Trail along the St. Lawrence River between Canada and New York.
