Dr. Chen joins Bon Secours physician group

PORT JERVIS, NY — Bon Secours Health Partners physician group recently announced the addition of Dr. Bonnie Chen who specializes in primary care and internal medicine.

Dr. Chen completed residencies at St. Vincent Catholic Medical Center in Staten Island and Jinyun County Hospital in Jinyun, Zhejiang, China.

Health Partners physician group currently has offices in Montague, New Jersey; and in Milford, Dingmans’ Ferry, Shohola and Westfall Township in Pennsylvania. They specialize in internal and family medicine, and pediatrics. Dr. Chen is currently accepting new patients. Call the office for an appointment at 570/296-5950.

Dr. Tietjen honored with tradition of service

Dr. George Tietjen, chief of staff at Wayne Memorial Hospital, accepted the first Harry Propst, M.D. Leadership Award at a physicians appreciation dinner at Erhardt’s in Hawley on Friday, October 17.

Tietjen, a general and vascular surgeon, succeeded Dr. Propst as chief of staff after Propst’s sudden death in 2001. Tietjen was credited withhelping to change the direction of the hospital’s tumor board to enhance patient care.
