The Spring House to host first PumpkinFest

BARRYVILLE, NY — The Barryville Chamber of Commerce will host the first annual PumpkinFest on Saturday, October 25 from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at The Spring House Commons, located on State Route 97.

The festival will feature live music, artists, ethnic food, a pumpkin decorating contest, costume contests for children and adults, a bake off, a pie-eating contest, a scarecrow contest and pumpkin chuckin’.

Also on Saturday, Gallery 97, inside Spruce Home and Gift at The Spring House, will open an exhibit of Halloween masks created between 1930 and 1970. The show will continue through November 9.
