FOSTERDALE, NY – Katie's Café opened its doors on October 8. The restaurant serves breakfast from 6:00 to 11:00 a.m. and lunch daily from 11:00 to 4:00 p.m. The menu features an array of international cuisine, including Thai.

The building which now houses the restaurant at the Four Corners, has been in owner Katie Franco's family for 20 years.

Following the tragedy of September 11, Franco decided she couldn’t go back to the city. It was then that the long, arduous task of renovating the building began. Despite adversity, including her husband’s death, her contractor’s death of a brain aneurysm, and problems with obtaining financing, Franco persevered.

Finally, after extensive renovation of the 100-year-old, three-story building, Franco welcomes patrons to a beautiful dining room and intimate tables in the front section. Specials are changed daily and ample parking is available adjacent to the restaurant.
