RICHARD R. EARLEY

LYNN, MA—Richard R. Earley died on September 21 in Lynn. He was 53.

The son of the late Walter Sr. and Marie Meckle Earley, he was born in Beach Lake, PA and attended Narrowsburg Central School.

He is survived by a sister, Mary Helene Jane Smith of Lothlin, MD, and two brothers, David John Earley of Weirton, WV, and Walter Earley Jr. of Liberty, NY.

MADELINE VAN FRADENBURGH

HARRIS, NY—Madeline C. Van Fradenburgh died on October 1 at the Seelig Division of the Catskill Regional Medical Center. She was 70.

The daughter of the late John and Katherine Abplanalp, she was born in Youngsville, NY.

She was a founding member of the Kauneonga Lake Fire Department Ladies’ Auxiliary and secretary of the North White Lake Fire District, as well as a former Cub Scout and Girl Scout leader, Sunday school teacher and member of the Community Methodist Church in Kauneonga Lake.

She is survived by her husband, Edward E. Van Fradenburgh; a son, John Van Fradenburgh of Kauneonga Lake, NY; and a daughter, Cathy McFadden of White Lake, NY.

KENNETH E. OLVER

JOHNSON CITY, NY—Kenneth E. Olver died on September 27 at Wilson Memorial Hospital. He was 83.

The son of the late Clarence and Maude Price Olver, he was born and raised in Beach Lake, PA.

He is survived by his daughters, Joanne Baker and Arlene Koniuto.

LELAND TURNER

JEFFERSONVILLE, NY—Leland Ross Turner died on September 30 at Catskill Regional Medical Center. He was 70.

The son of Harry G. and Florence Turner, he was born in Hurleyville, NY.

He was a member of the Hurleyville United Methodist Church, member and past chief of the Hurleyville Fire Department, a life member of the Hudson Valley Firefighters Association, and past president of the Methol Hunting club.

Mr. Turner is survived by his wife, Lillian Zalsky Turner; two sons, Daniel Lee Turner of Illinois and Ross Henry Joyce-Turner of Jeffersonville; one daughter, Wendy Lee Anderson; two brothers, Fred Turner of Hurleyville and Russell Turner of Neversink, NY; and two sisters, Phyllis Fix of Valatie and Ginger McCarthy of Hurleyville.
