Ruth M. "Toby" Bussa

HONESDAKE, PA — Ruth M. “Toby” Bussa died on August 26 at the Wayne Woodlands Manor. She was 87.

The daughter of Clarence and Nellie Tyler, she was born in Damascus, PA, and was a member of St. John the Evangelist Parish in Honesdale.

Survivors include her son, John D Bussa, of Palm Coast, FL, and two daughters, Lynn Dugan of Long Beach, CA, and Margaret Mine, of Palm Beach Gardens, FL.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Wayne Woodlands Manor Activity Fund, 295 South St., Waymart, PA 18427.

Robert W. Degraw

NARROWSBURG, NY — Robert W. DeGraw died on August 30 at Bon Secours Community Hospital. He was 37.

The son of Irene L. Brucher DeGraw and Keith Albert DeGraw, he was born in Watertown, NY.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Jane DeGraw; two sons, Robert and Mitchel DeGraw of Lakeville; two daughters, Alixandra and Jacqueline DeGraw, also of Lakeville; a brother, Brian Keith DeGraw of South Fallsdale, PA; and his mother, Irene DeGraw of Narrowsburg, NY.

Cremation will take place at H.G. Smith Crematory in Stroudsburg, PA. At DeGraw’s request, no public service has been scheduled.

Archie Faberman

HARRIS, NY — Archie Faberman died on September 2 at the Seelig Division of the Catskill Regional Medical Center in Harris. He was 95.

The son of the late Harris and Ida Faberman, he was born in Brooklyn, NY. Archie Faberman donated an ambulance to the Lake Huntington/Cochecton Ambulance Corps in memory of his second wife.

He is survived by a son, Ira Faberman of Longmont, CO, and a daughter, Martha Kalser of Delray Beach, FL.

Irma M. Glass

LIBERTY, NY — Irma M. Glass died on August 17 at the Sullivan County Adult Care Center. She was 87.

The daughter of Ernest and Louise Steinle Haag, she was born in Frankfurt, Germany.

She was the owner and operator of the Kenmore Hotel in Kauneonga Lake, a founder and past president of the White Lake PTA, a former owner of Landmark Real Estate and a past member of the Sullivan County Board of Realtors.

She is survived by three sons, Leo, Ralph, and Roger Glass.

Sandra Heyn Lattimer

WAYMART, PA — Sandra Louise Heyn Lattimer died on September 3 at Wayne Woodlands Nursing Home. She was 62.

The daughter of Oliver and Jamie Lucile Cone Heyn, she was born in Chicago. She was an avid watercolorist and a member of the Calkins Baptist Church.

She is survived by a brother, Douglas Heyn of Carlsbad, NM.

Interment will take place at Calkins Cemetery.

Hilda McGuire

WAYMART, PA — Hilda McGuire died on August 26 at Wayne Woodlands Manor in Waymart. She was 86.

The daughter of Alfred and Ellen James, she was a member of Queen of Peace Church in Hawley.

She is survived by her nephews, Kevin James of Greentown, William J. McDonnell of Scranton, Frank McDonnell of Rhode Island and Phillip McDonnell of Lebanon, PA; and her niece, Amy James of Hawley.

Annaliese Carol Schmidt

JEFFERSONVILLE, NY — Annaliese Carol Schmidt died on August 27 while vacationing in Germany. She was 68.

The daughter of Jacob and Anna Deutsch Schmidhofer, she was born in Ridgewood, Queens. She was owner of ASA Precision Company of Jeffersonville, a member of Jeffersonville Ambulance Corps and an active participant in the Chamber of Commerce.

She is survived by two sons, Stephan and Richard Schmidt of Jeffersonville.

Memorial contributions may be made to Jeffersonville First Aid Squad or the Jeffersonville Fire Department.
