Champeau is hospital PR director
By TOM KANE
HONESDALE, PA — Lisa Champeau, former consumer reporter with
WNEP-TV Channel 16 in Scranton, has been named the new publicity director of
Wayne Memorial Hospital.
She is replacing Emily Paulsen who moved to Washington, DC,
where her husband Martin Livezey has an appointment to the National Gallery.
For more than a decade, Champeau worked in New York City with
WPIX, WCBS and HBO News. Later she moved to Binghamton where she was the anchor
for eight years on WBNG Channel 12. For a short time, she was associated with
AmeriCare, an international medical relief agency and worked in several African
countries.
Since moving to Wayne County, Champeau has been associated
with the Wayne County Library.
“Wayne Memorial will be experiencing considerable growth very
soon,” said the hospital’s Chief Executive Officer, David Hoff. “We are seeing
a new satellite being built in Lords Valley, will be doubling the size of our
emergency facility, expanding our rehab unit and providing more services at
the Stourbridge Mall. Champeau’s experience and skills will be well utilized
in the days and months to come.”
Champeau is a resident of Orson, PA and has one child, who
is eight years old.
