And nobody got hurt

ELDRED, NY — State police and Highland constables are pictured at the Route 55 scene of a rollover accident on August 10.

Driver Denise Maldanelli of Merrick, NY said she had wandered off the shoulder of the pavement before the 4:10 p.m. accident, then overcorrected her steering while trying to get back onto the road.

Maldanelli who was alone and wearing her seatbelt, was uninjured.

Yulan firefighters assisted police at the scene.
